Summary - OSH in figures in the health and social care sector

This report forms part of a research project on occupational safety and health (OSH) in a crucial sector facing many challenges: health and social care. Seeking to shed light on the OSH risks and OSH health outcomes for its workers, and improve their working conditions, the report offers statistical, evidence-based insight into the state of the sector. 

The research is based on a literature review and in-depth stakeholder interviews, and draws from major data sources like the European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER), the European Working Conditions Telephone Survey (EWCTS), the OSH Pulse survey 2022 and the EU Labour Force Survey (LFS).
