Keywords:

As the world of work continues to change, new perspectives are needed to address current occupational safety and health (OSH) concerns while primary data collection directly from the source is essential. Preliminary results from the pioneering EU-OSHA – Senior Labour Inspector committee (SLIC) survey, which leverages the expertise of labour inspectors, serve as a significant stepping stone.

The data highlight high-risk occupations and sectors, offering insights that can be used to increase awareness, effective targeting of actions and inform training. Moreover, the findings can help to identify the areas that require attention and determine effective measures to mitigate risks faced by workers.
