Equal Opportunities for All Employees at Magyar Telekom
Keywords:Magyar Telekom Plc. was established in 1991. As a national carrier it has several hundreds of sites in the various parts of the country. The headcount consisted in 2008 of 6125 people. Magyar Telekom Plc. pays special attention to the mental health of its employees. This was done by implementing an Equal Opportunity Plan, which has a focus on work-life balance. The Equal Opportunity Plan is a concept which was adopted by the Hungarian Parliament in 2003. Magyar Telekom Plc. implemented various mental health activities within the Equal Opportunity Plan programme as they are convinced that well-being contributes considerably to employees’ performance.
