Artificial Intelligence for worker management: existing and future regulations

AI-based worker management (AIWM) systems can negatively impact workers’ health, safety and well-being.

This policy brief discusses how existing and newly proposed regulations on AI, data governance, and occupational safety and health (OSH) at the EU and national levels can mitigate the possible negative effects of AIWM systems on OSH.

It also formulates recommendations to reduce risks that are associated with the design and use of AIWM systems.
