external violence
type of violence exercised against a person at the workplace by individuals not belonging to the company
For this reason, and due to certain past incidents involving Train Conductors, it became necessary to identify and assess the psychosocial risks faced by the staff. This evaluation has enabled to identify external violence as a high risk factor (a value greater than 3.5 on a scale of 1 to 5)
EU-OSHA, Case studies "Assessing and tackling external violence at work", https://osha.europa.eu/en/tools-and-publications/publications/assessing-and-tackling-external-violence-at-work
can take different forms: abusive behaviour, verbal aggression, acts of violence (such as robberies). It endangers the health, safety and well-being of the workers concerned
