The European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR)

Description

EULAR represents people with arthritis/rheumatism, health professionals and scientific societies of rheumatology in the EU. EULAR's aims are to reduce the burden of rheumatic diseases on the individual and society and to improve the treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal diseases. The website provides the research news, guidelines and recommendations through a range of communications (journals, news, activities). It includes lay versions of recommendations and the public affairs section contains EULAR policy positions and position papers. EULAR has established PARE (People with Arthritis and Rheumatism) which is a committee of representatives of rheumatic and musculoskeletal patient support groups. PARE provides a newsletter and there is a list of the national PARE organisations, many of which provide advice on working with rheumatic disorders. Eular has a campaign Don’t Delay, Connect Today – Time2Work. Videos related to this campaign on working with chronic MSDs are available on the EULAR YouTube channel.
