En 2017, un programme d’amélioration de la qualité de vie au travail a été lancé dans l’Ehpad Terre-Nègre. Il a été A progressivement déployé : installation et acquisition d’aides techniques, formations pour accompagner l’arrivée et faciliter la prise en main des nouveaux matériels, communication interne pour partager les nouveautés. Les bénéfices en matière de baisse de sinistralité et d’amélioration des conditions de travail sont nets. A titre d'exemple, le siège de relevage apporte du confort et de la sécurité à la fois aux soignants et à la personne au sol. Les rails font également partie des aides techniques dont s'est équipé l'établissement avec l’aide financière de la Carsat Aquitaine et de l’ARS NouvelleAquitaine.
