Strategic partnerships to implement and promote OiRA in Belgium – Case Study

Belgium's Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) platform has seen significant growth since 2013. This case study highlights the increasing numbers of tools and registered users as well as increased interest from employers in workplace safety and health and risk assessment.

One of the main success factors of OiRA in Belgium is its alignment with the national occupational safety and health legislation. The sector-driven, participatory approach via strong strategic partnerships with key stakeholders as well as an active and continued promotion of the tools is another key driver of uptake.
