This case study highlights the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to tackling musculoskeletal disorders in the workplace.

A female researcher who suffers from sore wrists and feelings of numbness in her fingers has been able to remain in her job thanks to the support she has received from her line manager, human resources, in-house ergonomists, an occupational physician and her general practitioner.
