DEVELOPMENT OF EMPLOYER REGULATIONS TO ENSURE SAFE MAINTENANCE

Maintenance operations differ substantially from the operating and supervision of production equipment and from manual assembly operations as far as their frequency, complexity, working environment characteristics, ease of regulation and hazards are concerned.
The task was to improve the safety of maintenance operations by introducing a cost-efficient method for general use in the company to regulate such operations based on risk assessment and through the training of employees.
