Denmark: Work-related musculoskeletal disorders: prevalence, costs and demographics in the EU

Keywords:

This country report analyses national data on musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). It enriches and complements the findings presented in the project’s final overview report, which covers the EU as a whole. Specifically, the country report focuses on national-level data on MSD prevalence and MSD-related occupational diseases, the impact on health and work, and risk factors. It also looks at the measures taken by companies to prevent MSDs and promote return to work. MSDs are prevalent across the EU, with high costs for workers, employers and society. These national data will add to knowledge of MSDs at EU level, contributing to the development of evidence-based strategies and policies for prevention.
