Occupational safety and health legislative framework

System for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is primarily set by the main legal document for this area in Latvia – the Labour Protection Law [1] (note: instead of the commonly used term “Occupational safety and health" in Latvia term “Labour protection" (“Darba aizsardzība" in Latvian) is used as remaining from the former Soviet Union.
