The Service Voucher scheme, introduced by the Law of 20 July 2001 aims to promote the development of local services and jobs, such as cleaning the home, ironing, shopping, etc. In practical terms, individuals may use Service Vouchers to pay an approved company for local services performed by a worker within the framework of an employment contract with this company.
