Introduction

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) has been applying foresight approaches as part of its mission to contribute to the improvement of safe and healthy working conditions in the EU for several years. Within its foresight approach, it looks at changes that may take place in the future and considers what their consequences could be, with the aims of improving policy and regulation and raising awareness to reduce work-related accidents and ill health.
