Description
An event organised in Agrinio, Greece, focuses on the occupational safety and health (OSH) and productivity challenges posed by climate change, highlighting the risks associated with rising temperatures and heatwaves and presenting prevention measures across sectors.
Hosted by our Greek focal point, Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the participants examine EU and national strategies for managing OSH under changing climatic conditions, including findings from EU-OSHA's OSH Pulse 2025 survey. The new Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tool ‘Heat and Cold’ to monitor and prevent heat-related risks is also tested.
The activity concludes with a screening of the Napo film ‘Too Hot to Work’, serving as a reminder that prevention and adaptation are essential to protect workers in this context.
