Alternative futures for the Circular Economy and OSH in 2040 "Cross-cutting implications and regional differences"

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), together with Future Impacts, is organising the workshop "Alternative futures for the Circular Economy (CE) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 2040 – Cross-cutting implications and regional perspectives."

This workshop is part of EU-OSHA's foresight study on possible developments in the Circular Economy and its effects on occupational health and safety (OSH) in the European Union.

The aim of this workshop, which has a special focus on cross-cutting implications and regional perspectives, is to explore a set of 4 scenarios created for the project and to discuss stakeholder and sectoral perspectives on future developments regarding the Circular Economy. Moreover, it will allow EU-OSHA to add to the reflection on future pathways and opportunities and risks, inform policy and raise awareness to reduce potential negative OSH impacts in the future.

Participants will benefit from receiving respective project insights and materials, and from connecting to other stakeholders and experts in the field, from a variety of backgrounds.
