Factsheet 1 - The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work
The Agency has been set up by the European Union in order to meet the increasing needs for information in the field of safety and health at work. The Agency is located in Bilbao (Spain) with a dedicated staff of experts in safety and health, information and administration. Our goal is to improve the lives of people at work by stimulating the flow of technical, scientific and economic information between all those involved in occupational safety and health (OSH) issues. This includes workers, employers, safety representatives, experts, practitioners and national as well as European Community bodies.
