Description

This guide aims to support employers in small enterprises in the assessment of chemical risks at workplaces. It is based on a control banding approach, where hazard and rough exposure information is combined to derive prevention approaches to protect workers. The hazard assessment is based on the classification system prior to the CLP regulation, i.e. using R-phrases. In plants that use a significant number of chemical substances and preparations, the guide may be of only limited use.
