Waste management was recognized as one of the most dangerous sectors. The company committed itself to achieving an exemplary record with regard to safety and introducing a corporate safety assurance manual (MASE certification). The first part of MASE system described the five factors that formed the essential foundations. The second part comprised a set of technical appendices containing advice and serving as a decision-making aid for the company.
