Reducing stress among female cleaners at a hospital

The Masters Programme in Ergonomics (WA) was targeted at management and safety experts. Students could take practical courses in applied occupational safety and health management, including practical projects, under the guidance of occupational health and safety experts and lecturers.
Three non-medical support services of a city hospital were selected. The general aim of the project was to implement an occupational safety and health management system into general management, not only of the medical service but also all support services. It was to be based on health circles, which would be able to identify specific risks and target groups in the different workplaces, and to elaborate adequate measures.
