Estonia – Changes in the working environment due to Covid-19: new risks and preventive measures
Covid-19 has presented new and dramatic challenges for businesses in terms of preventing the spread of the virus and protecting workers. This has left many companies with practical tips and guidelines on preventive measures that can be taken.
To share this best practice and introduce the findings of the recent European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks 2019, the Estonian Labour Inspectorate is organising a seminar on 13 October 2020. The seminar explains which preventive measures worked well in the context of controlling the spread of the coronavirus among workers and which measures could be improved. It also covers the psychological impact of the pandemic, and the requirements for tackling the virus – both at company and national level.
Representatives from two companies share practical experience and tips on controlling and preventing the virus. Following the speakers’ presentations, participants have the opportunity to discuss the highly relevant topic in groups.
