Cyprus – Launching the Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) can affect workers in any sector, not only impacting their personal health, but also limiting their productivity at work. As a result, the issue of MSDs is a major problem for employees and employers alike.
To raise awareness of the problem and to formally launch EU-OSHA’s Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load campaign in Cyprus, the Cypriot national focal point is organising an informative webinar on 19 October. The webinar is one of the many events taking place across Europe as part of the European Week for Safety and Health at work. Speakers discuss the aims and objectives of the European campaign, as well as addressing innovative approaches to dealing with musculoskeletal stress. They also examine the ways that workplace exercise can improve employee wellness.
The webinar will be in the Greek language and will be useful for safety and health professionals, employers and employees. It will also offer the opportunity for participants to discuss the issues raised and ask the experts any questions.
