World Teachers’ Day: workplace safety and health starts at school

On the World Teachers' Day, 5 October, we celebrate the role that teachers play in providing quality education for children and adults of all ages.

Integrating occupational safety and health (OSH) into education is key for pupils and students to develop a good attitude and understanding of how important is to be safe and healthy as well as to take care for others (family, colleagues, teachers).

Napo has been helping teachers in this fundamental mission through a series of OSH education toolkits in various languages, aimed at introducing health and safety topics to primary school children in a fun and imaginative way.

Visit our web section on Mainstreaming OSH into education to find more resources and check some OSHwiki featured articles.
