EU-OSHA’s Executive Director visits Lisbon to close the Healthy Workplaces campaign in Portugal
On 5th November, EU-OSHA Executive Director, Dr Christa Sedlatschek, visits Lisbon to participate in the Portuguese closing event for the Healthy Workplaces Manage Dangerous Substances campaign. The visit aims to give insight into the lessons learned which allowed Portuguese companies to improve the handling of dangerous substances and establish safer and healthier working environments.
Dr. Sedlatschek shares the main message and objectives of the campaign and encourages the Portuguese network to maintain the momentum in the years to come and to highlight that the key to effective risk assessment and management is a strong culture of prevention.
Speakers also present Portuguese companies good practice examples to encourage other companies to invest in occupational safety and health.
