SIP launches joint statement on pain and mental health

The Societal Impact of Pain, SIP, has launched a Joint Statement on Pain and Mental Health aimed at EU and national policy makers. Mental health disorders and chronic pain frequently co-occur and influence each other, creating a vicious cycle of disability. Point 7 of the 9 point call for action addresses the "link between pain, mental health conditions and employment" recognising the positive impact of good working conditions.
