Description

The learning module on dangerous substances provides basic information on where dangerous chemicals occur in the workplace, how they can be assessed and how workers can protect themselves. The module gives an initial overview and introduction to the topic. Further information is provided according to sectors or topics on the website either as further learning module or brochure.

The aim of the learning modules by the statutory accident insurance association for energy, textile, electricity and printing media (BG ETEM)  is to provide sector-specific knowledge on occupational safety and health (OSH) to workers and employers. The modules present OSH knowledge in an interactive and appealing manner. Each module lasts 15 to 20 minutes. A self-test (quiz) is included at the end of the module. There are six modules on special topics associated with dangerous substances.
