‘Buy quiet’ helps companies to tackle noise hazards at work - French and German versions now available

Occupational noise can have major negative effects on health as it causes hearing damage and deafness, stress, poor productivity, and interferes with communication.

A practical guide for buyers of machineries raises awareness of the risks related to occupational noise and encourages companies to buy low-noise equipment.

The guide ‘Buy quiet’ is produced by the NOMAD Task Force, a working group of the European committee ADCO Machinery Directive.

Now the guide Buy quiet is also available in French and German.
