The workshop held in Brussels on May 18^th 2017 built on EU-OSHA’s review of existing alert and sentinel approaches for the detection of work-related diseases. The workshop gathered system’s owners and users, researchers and actors in the disease recognition area. The objective was to gain more insight on the drivers and obstacles to the implementation of alert and sentinel systems with a view to improve the identification of work-related diseases and the timely set up of evidence-based prevention.
