Description

This report features cases from a variety of workplaces that demonstrate how a risk assessment process has led to a risk being identified and successfully eliminated or substantially reduced. The main aim of the report is to illustrate how risk elimination or risk reduction at source can be achieved at workplace level. Eliminating health risks for dental laboratory technicians by capturing pollutants at source is a good example of how a company was able to comply with occupational safety and health requirements, despite constraints such as its location in an old building in the heart of a city centre.
