Description

The guidelines are aimed at defining a technical-operational standard of reference for monitoring environmental microbiology at the national level. They also aim to define the criteria for assessing samples and interpreting results. The final aim is to develop a homogeneous database of biological agents in workplaces. The guidelines are meant to be for internal use at the National Institute for Workplace Injury Insurance (INAIL). However, they have also been disseminated outside INAIL to stimulate the exchange of experiences among operators in the sector.
