In addition there is a training video on how to identify asbestos and safely work in related renovation activities.
Asbestos has widely been used in construction. Just a small number of asbestos fibres released into the air can eventually lead to cancer; therefore, the building material was banned in 1990. However, in older buildings that need to be renovated or demolished, there is still a risk of exposure to asbestos dust.
