Portugal – How to create a healthy workplace culture within small and micro enterprises
Détails de la manifestation
Limited resources within micro and small enterprises (MSEs) mean that managing all aspects of occupational safety and health (OSH) can be a challenge. This is because MSEs may lack the capacity to monitor working conditions, raise awareness of the topic, or correctly apply OSH measures. Therefore, workers in such companies are at a greater risk of being involved in an accident, or getting a work-related disease.
To discuss the topic, the Portuguese focal point is organising a webinar on the 2nd of December. Both psychologists and employer and employee representatives from the EU-OSHA Management Board debate the issue. Establishing a healthy workplace culture within MSEs represents a priority for national OSH strategies and the European Commission’s strategic framework, in addition to being a crucial part of the ‘fair working conditions’ category within the European Pillar of Social Rights.
The event is broadcast online from Lisbon and is of interest to specialists in the field, owners or managers of MSEs and workers.
