April 2017 posts
April 28 is World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The theme this year is “optimise the collection and use of occupational safety and health (OSH) data”.
Reliable, high quality data is essential at both the workplace and policy levels to ensure that the correct decisions are made to ensure the ongoing protection of workers.
Health and life at work is a basic human right. “Everyone has the right to life to work… to just and favourable conditions of work… Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and wellbeing of himself and of his family”.
