A new study, part of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan quality-of-life pillar, highlights policies and frameworks to protect workers with cancer and points out the remaining gaps and challenges they face.
The study maps existing measures across EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, and presents eleven good practice measures for supporting workers with a history of cancer. Detailed country factsheets provide insights into national frameworks, inspiring stakeholders at various levels to enhance worker protection.
EU-OSHA contributed to the study, building on a previous research on rehabilitation and return-to-work instruments and practices.
