To launch the Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load Campaign in Austria, the Austrian Labour Inspectorate (ZAI) is hosting an awareness raising event for all network partners and interested parties to discuss the goals of the campaign.

The event kicks off with an introduction to the new campaign by EU-OSHA’s director, Dr. Christa Sedlatschek (via a video message) and Martina Häckel-Bucher from the Austrian Ministry of Social Affairs. Keynote speeches then focus on MSDs and the role of the labour inspectorate. Best practice examples are also shared, and time is set aside for a question and answer session.

Taking place in Vienna, attendees include representatives of federal ministries; labour inspection employees; social services representatives; organisational psychology experts and representatives from Austrian communication agencies.

The event will be accompanied by a press conference, during which the panel will provide information about the status quo in Austria, as well as the main OSH focus areas of their organisation and the best practice guidelines they have employed effectively.
