Foresight on new and emerging OSH risks associated with digitalisation by 2025 - Norway
Digital technologies, including Information Communication Technology Enabled Technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, wearables and online platforms are likely to have major impacts on the nature and organisation of work over the next years. Technologies are diffusing more widely and much faster than in the past and many people are talking about a ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’. This workshop was organised with EU-OSHA’s Focal Point in Norway on 8th November 2018 and delivered by the UK Health and Safety Laboratory and SAMI Consulting Limited. The objectives were to present the findings of EU-OSHA’s Foresight on new and emerging occupational safety and health (OSH) risks associated with digitalisation by 2025 as well as to demonstrate how the scenarios produced as part of the foresight can be used as a tool to develop policies and strategies addressing these challenges.
