"Safe Site" - A safe, healthy and productive working environment

S.C. HIDROCONSTRUCTIA S.A. is a construction company, mainly focused on hydrotechnical and edilitary constructions. In 2008 the proportion of edilitary work increased. At this time it was concluded that there was a:

-    insuitable endowment with equipment for the performance of such works;

-    lack of suitable collective protection means;

-    insufficiently trained and qualified personnel to perform such works;

-    high number serious injuries in this field (at a national level).

This determined the company management to review the investment program, the working technologies used and to newly identify and assess the risks for occupational accidents and diseases for this part of the work.
