Ex-post evaluation of the Second European Survey of Enterprises on new and emerging Risks

This report presents the findings of the ex-post evaluation of the second European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER-2). The report fulfils the obligation to evaluate EU-OSHA’s largest projects to demonstrate the appropriate use of resources.

The evaluation looks into the research design, the implementation of the survey and its visibility, among others, measured against nine evaluation criteria.

The methods used are a combination of desk research and interviews/focus groups with stakeholders, EU-OSHA staff and researchers. The evaluation includes recommendations for the research design and implementation of ESENER-3, as well as its communication strategy.
