Good Life with osteoArthritis in Denmark (GLA:D®)
Godt Liv med Artrose i Danmark (GLA:D®)
Description
GLA:D® stands for Good Life with osteoArthritis in Denmark and was launched in Denmark in 2013 with the aim of implementing international guidelines in practice. In the last five years, almost 38,000 patients with knee or hiposteoarthritis have gone through the programme. The effect of the programme is controlled and the results show that it leads to pain reduction, improved quality of life, lower intake of painkillers and reduced need to take sick leave from work.
