Description

Workers in educational establishments can face the same hazards as those in any other workplace. However, educational workplaces are shared with students or pupils. These groups can be vulnerable, being young, inexperienced and often ignorant of safety and health hazards. They can also be a hazard in themselves. This factsheet addresses these risks and also occupational safety and health risks in laboratories.
