Description

This Code applies to chemicals defined as hazarouds under the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations and are handled or stored at the workplace. It outlines recommended practice to label chemicals that have known health, safety of enviornmenta hazards, including if there is insufficient information to allow it to be correctly classified. The label should reflect the current state of knowledge. It practical guidance to persons conducting a business or undertaking involved in the manufacture, import, supply or use of hazardous chemicals on how to correctly label hazardous chemicals used in the workplace.
