Summary - Improving OSH through supply chains: market-based initiatives in the agri-food and construction industries
Keywords:Despite changes to the structure of supply chains in response to socioeconomic factors, the EU and the prosperity of its businesses remain inextricably linked to their success. The increased significance of sustainable and ethical behaviours within those distribution relations stresses the importance of improving OSH and working conditions. This report presents the results of a literature review carried out as part of EU-OSHA’s project on market leverage of OSH in supply chains, examining two key EU sectors in particular: agri-food and construction.
