Summary - Foresight study on the circular economy and its effects on occupational safety and health: Phase 2 – micro-scenarios

The transition to a circular economy (CE) demands new business models, new ways of working that may result in new risks to workers' health and safety. This report presents the results of phase 2 of this foresight study on CE.  It involved stakeholder dialogues at four workshops in 2022.

During these workshops, participants explored future possibilities and identified specific implications for occupational safety and health (OSH). Based on these discussions, the report presents key actions needed to shape a human-centred approach to OSH in the transition to a European CE.
