The “Mental Health in all Policies” Thematic Network released a joint statement urging EU and European countries to implement a comprehensive, multi-sectoral approach to mental health at local, regional, national and European levels. Signatories call for a ‘mental health in all policies’ (MHiaP) approach, so mental health can step beyond public health policy areas and be promoted across all policy sectors which includes work-related psychosocial risks.

The Network is led by Mental Health Europe and hosted on DG SANTE’s Health and Policy Platform, and is heavily involved in the comprehensive approach to mental health announced by the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in the 2022 State of the Union Address

The joint statement can be signed by any organization or entity at European, national, regional and local level before 22 May.
