Improving working conditions of people with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases

EULAR (The European League Against Rheumatism) has released a position paper aimed at finding solutions for the consequences of inadequate working conditions of those EU citizens who suffer from rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs).

This position paper proposes a number of policy recommendations to address issues like the prevention and retention of people with RMDs in the workplace and the access to occupational health professionals and therapists. These are partly based on the recommendations elaborated during a conference organised by EULAR in 2016.
