The European Commission launches public consultation to assess how the European Labour Authority (ELA) has performed in relation to its objectives and mandate, and to determine whether there is a need to amend its mandate.

ELA was established in 2019 to ensure the fair, simple and effective enforcement of EU labour mobility rules and social security coordination in the EU single market.

The consultation seeks to gather views from beneficiaries and users of the Authority’s services, as well as research organisations, academia, civil society organisations, and public authorities at national, regional and local levels.
