The ‘Job quality side of climate change’ report  debates the occupational safety and health (OSH) impact of climate change and environmental degradation on job quality, including the implication of green tasks in selected sectors.

Key findings highlight the negative effects of rising temperatures, increased air pollution and greater frequency of extreme weather events on workers’ job quality and productivity. It also emphasises that climate change policies are set to contribute to sectoral and occupational shifts, particularly in sectors which contribute the most to greenhouse gas emissions.
