Conference on digitalisation looks at safety and health in the new world of work

How do new technologies or new forms of employment affect the safety and health of workers? EU-OSHA’s Executive Director Dr Christa Sedlatschek brings this topic of global importance at the The future of work symposium on 26 February in Linz, Austria.

EU-OSHA’s foresight project aims to identify risks and anticipate changes as result of the rapid development in digital technologies that could have an impact on workplace safety and health. The project outcomes contribute to the efforts of EU decision makers, Member States’ Governments, trade unions and employers in exploring the future OSH challenges and opportunities associated with ICT, and providing solutions for workers and organisations to improve safety and health at work.
