From moving heavy weights, to dealing with demanding clients and working long hours, there are many occupational risk for the workers in sports and recreation industry that may affect their safety and health.

To protect workers, five Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools were developed by OiRA partners. They focus on fitness centres (France* and Latvia*), active leisure (EU-level*), not-for-profit sports (EU-level*) and professional sports (EU-level*).
