Description
Mental health problems and inequalities in mental health are currently a major problem. According to the Spanish Ministry of Health, in 2022 37% of the Spanish population will suffer from some kind of problem mental health The prevalences of these problems, moreover, show a growing trend, particularly boosted following the health crisis, social and economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. This has led to the EU to adopt a new plan in relation to mental health that includes areas such as education, digitization, employment, research, development urban or environmental or climate issues. The Institut d'Estudis del Treball with these XII Days wants to contribute to the debate and reflection on the role of the world of work in this mental health crisis and mental health inequality.
